The Huawei SUN2000-15KTL-M5 String Inverter is designed to efficiently convert DC power from solar PV arrays into usable AC power for grid export. It features two independent MPPT trackers with four PV inputs, enabling flexible string configurations to optimise energy yield under varied solar conditions. With a maximum efficiency of around 98.4 percent and European efficiency near 98.0 percent, the inverter maximises energy harvest for commercial and larger residential systems. Built-in protections include AI-powered arc fault protection (AFCI), anti-islanding protection, DC reverse-polarity protection, AC and DC surge protection (Type II), residual current monitoring, and integrated PID recovery to improve system safety and stability. The rugged IP66-rated enclosure and smart air cooling allow reliable outdoor operation over a wide temperature range. Communication and monitoring are supported via RS485, built-in WLAN with the FusionSolar app, and optional Smart Dongles (Ethernet/4G) for remote diagnostics, performance tracking, and system control.
