The Huawei SUN2000-20KTL-M5 string inverter is engineered to deliver efficient solar energy conversion, reliability, and smart energy management for medium and large PV systems. With dual MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) channels and four string inputs, it maximises energy harvest from varied module orientations and array configurations. The inverter achieves high conversion efficiency (up to about 98.4 percent) with European efficiency around 98.1 percent, helping improve daily energy yield. Comprehensive built-in protection functions — including AI-supported arc fault detection (AFCI), anti-islanding protection, AC and DC surge protection, reverse-polarity protection, and residual current monitoring — enhance system safety and longevity. Robust IP66 design with smart air cooling ensures reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments while optional communication modules (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, 4G) allow remote diagnostics and performance tracking through Huawei’s FusionSolar monitoring platform.
