The Sungrow 16.0 kWh battery package forms part of the Sungrow SBR high-voltage battery range, built for users who require increased storage capacity and dependable backup power. Using advanced LiFePO₄ cell technology, the battery offers excellent thermal stability, high safety, and consistent performance over its lifespan.

An intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) continuously monitors each cell to ensure optimal operation, providing protection against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short circuit, and temperature extremes. The modular stackable design allows easy expansion, enabling homeowners to scale their system as energy requirements grow. When paired with Sungrow hybrid inverters, the battery supports solar self-consumption, load shifting, and uninterrupted power supply during grid outages.
