The Sungrow 22.4 kWh battery package consists of multiple stackable LiFePO₄ battery modules that combine to provide dependable long-duration energy storage. Using advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate cells and an integrated smart Battery Management System (BMS), the system continuously manages cell voltage, current, and temperature, providing protections against over-charging, over-discharging, over-current, short circuit, and temperature extremes. The modular architecture allows straightforward capacity expansion by adding additional modules or parallel units. It supports up to 100 % usable capacity and is suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor installation thanks to its IP55 protection rating. When paired with a compatible Sungrow hybrid inverter, this battery package enables efficient solar self-consumption, load shifting, backup power during grid outages, and overall energy optimisation for high-demand households or small commercial sites.
